HELA Press publishes books that are a meeting place for literature and art. Our catalogue features poetry, prose, and essays, along with experimental formats that explore the relationship between image, performance and text.

Embracing the paperback tradition at the heart of public engagement, our inaugural series is at once conceptual and graspable, widely available and intimate. We publish authors from diverse backgrounds, including artists, writers, and researchers, from around the world.

HELA Press was founded in London in 2025 by Helena Czernecka. The series is distributed worldwide and designed by Teo Schifferli.
